DML Morning Briefing Wed. Nov 11: 180 boxes of ballots found, amnesty claims begin.

Today is November 11 and I am Dennis Michael Lynch.
1 – In Puerto Rico, uncounted ballots in 180 boxes found after election
At least 180 boxes of votes from all over the island have been found, election officials said Tuesday, the Miami Herald reported.
“We don’t know exactly how much is in there,” Roberto Iván Aponte, the electoral commissioner of the Puerto Rican Independence Party, said, according to the Herald. The Absentee and Early Vote Administrative Board is now in possession of the ballots, he said.
The Puerto Rico State Elections Commission said the problem happened because of the higher number of voters casting their ballots by mail – more than 227,000.
DML: We just can’t make this stuff up. Unbelievable!
2 – Joe Biden claims it’s an ’embarrassment’ that President Trump hasn’t conceded yet
From Breitbart: Joe Biden told reporters on Tuesday that it is “an embarrassment” that President Trump has not yet conceded the election.
While the media has declared Biden the “president-elect,” several battleground states, including Georgia, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Nevada are still counting and reanalyzing ballots and counting procedures.
RealClearPolitics lists Biden as receiving 259 electoral votes, 11 short of the 70 needed to capture the presidency. CNN claims Biden has 279 votes, while Fox News is more robust, awarding Biden 290 votes.
Nevertheless, Biden said it is “an embarrassment” that his opponent has not given up despite the conflicting opinions and legal challenges.
DML: No, Joe… YOU are the embarrassment!
3 – Biden coronavirus adviser wants US to distribute vaccine globally before it’s available to all Americans
From Fox News: Oncologist Dr. Zeke Emanuel, one of 10 advisory board members named to Democratic President-elect Joe Biden’s coronavirus task force, has pushed the U.S. and other countries to not hoard a coronavirus vaccine.
Emanuel, who served as a key architect of the Affordable Care Act under the Obama administration, co-authored a paper in September in which he encouraged officials to follow the “Fair Priority Model,” which calls for a “fair international distribution of vaccine,” rather than what he and his co-authors characterized as “vaccine nationalism.”
The model allows the country that produces the vaccine to hold onto enough of a supply to reach a threshold for herd immunity (“Rt below 1″). Beyond that, the model supports distributing the vaccine internationally, which means giving away or selling doses of the vaccine before it’s available to every citizen in that country, Emanuel explained to Scientific American.
“Reasonable national partiality does not permit retaining more vaccine than the amount needed to keep the rate of transmission (Rt) below 1, when that vaccine could instead mitigate substantial COVID-19–related harms in other countries that have been unable to keep Rt below 1 through ongoing public-health efforts,” the Science magazine article titled “An ethical framework for global vaccine allocation” argues.
“Associative ties only justify a government’s giving some priority to its own citizens, not absolute priority,” Emanuel wrote with his co-authors.
DML: I’m not about to take the vaccine – but what about America FIRST?
4 – Guatemala Asks for U.S. Amnesty for Its 700,000-Plus Migrants
Breitbart: Guatemala’s government is asking the U.S. government to let roughly 700,000 Guatemalan migrants stay in the United States because of massive flooding that has killed 150 people in the poor country.
Reuters reported Guatemala’s plan to ask for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for its migrants. If granted, the status would allow Guatemala’s illegal migrants to stay and work in the United States, regardless of the high unemployment and low wages among many unskilled Americans:
Guatemala’s government knows that Trump opposes the TPS program and has ordered the cancellation of TPS for hundreds of thousands of migrants who have stayed in the United States for almost two decades.
But the Guatemala request is likely aimed at Joe Biden, who has promised to welcome poor migrants who simply ask for asylum, regardless of the painful impact on Americans.
DML: Get ready for the flood.
5 – USPS whistleblower denies report he recanted voter fraud claims
The postal worker in Pennsylvania who Congressional Democrats and a major US newspaper claimed had recanted his allegations of mail-in-ballot tampering is denying that he walked back his words.
In a video posted Tuesday evening, Richard Hopkins, a United States Postal Service worker in the must-win swing state, denied taking back his statements when speaking to authorities.
The Washington Post reported Tuesday that Hopkins had admitted to investigators that he fabricated his allegations. Project Veritas has called foul, saying Hopkins was coerced into recanting his allegations.
“I’m here to say I did not recant my statements. That did not happen,” Hopkins says in the video testimony released Tuesday night.
DML: Now why are they trying to shut this guy up?
