1.Supreme Court ruling in California case allows indoor religious services to resume — with some limits
Fox News reports the U.S. Supreme Court in a split decision Friday night ruled that houses of worship in California may hold indoor services at 25% capacity, giving a partial win to groups fighting the state’s coronavirus restrictions.
The high court issued the orders in two cases where plaintiffs had sued over restrictions meant to slow the spread of the virus.
The state will be permitted to restrict singing and chanting during services, the court said.
Justices Neil Gorsuch and Clarence Thomas reportedly said they would have lifted all restrictions on churches while the court’s three liberal justices dissented.
DML: “State can restrict singing and chanting”… I swear to God this country has lost its mind. Will the NFL stop their fans this Sunday from chanting for Tom Brady, or will the fans not be able to sing the National Anthem? 2.Biden says Trump should not receive intelligence briefings due to his ‘erratic behavior’
All major outlets are reporting that President Joe Biden said that former President Donald Trump should not receive intelligence briefings even though they typically have been given to other former presidents.
Biden told CBS News in an interview that Trump was “unfit to be president” and his “erratic behavior” is why he should have access to the nation’s classified information.
DML: Erratic behavior? Lowering taxes, securing the border, killing ISIS… this is erratic? No. Erratic behavior is getting into office and speaking in such a way that entices illegals to caravan to the border, then increasing refugee numbers nearly ten fold, then stopping the travel ban, etc, etc during a so-called pandemic. 3. Fox News Suddenly Cancels ‘Lou Dobbs Tonight,’ Fox Business’ Highest Rated Show
The LA Times reports that Fox News Media has canceled “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” the program hosted by television’s staunchest supporter of Donald Trump and of his assertions of voter fraud in the 2020 election.
Dobbs’ program, which airs twice nightly at 5 and 7 p.m. Eastern on the Fox Business Network, will have its final airing Friday, according to a Fox News representative who confirmed the cancellation. Starting next week, the program will be called “Fox Business Tonight,” with rotating substitute hosts Jackie DeAngelis and David Asman, who filled in for Dobbs on Friday.
Dobbs, 75, remains under contract at Fox News but he will in all likelihood not appear on the company’s networks again. In addition to his Fox Business Network program, he occasionally turned up on the Fox News Channel as a commentator.
The cancellation comes a day after voting software company Smartmatic filed a $2.7-billion defamation suit against Fox News and three of its hosts — Dobbs, Maria Bartiromo and Jeanine Pirro. The company claims the hosts perpetuated lies and disinformation about Smartmatic’s role in the election, damaging its business and reputation.

4.Fake N95 masks have flooded the market.
Fake news network CNN’s lead story on Saturday states that between the time the pandemic began and the year ended, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seized over 14.6 million counterfeit face masks entering the US.
DML: The mighty mask. I would prefer to see an article about how the masks have been worn for nearly a year and have done absolutely nothing to stop the spread. Why not report the numbers? Because CNN and the liberals need the pandemic to control the citizens of the US. But in the event you disagree with me, good ole CNN provided an asinine list to follow when buying a mask online and making sure it’s the real deal. Here you go…
- Are there typos, bad grammar or other errors on the site?
- Are there website flaws, like unfinished or blank pages, dummy text, broken links and misspelled domains?
- Does the listing call the product “genuine” or “real”? Legitimate companies don’t need to tell buyers their products are real — at least not in the product name.
- Have reviews been left on the product, or on the seller? Buyers unhappy with the product may reveal that it is poorly made or illegitimate.
- Is the price too good to be true? It probably is.
- Is the seller selling the same items over time, or keeping with trends? Legitimate businesses tend to stay consistent.
- Does the seller put their contact information in images? If so, they may be skirting around marketplace policy to keep interactions between buyers and sellers on the site.
5.Mexican Cartel Kidnaps Teen in Texas Border City
Drug smugglers believed to have ties to the Cartel Del Noreste faction of Los Zetas are now linked to the kidnapping of a teen male in Laredo, Texas. Authorities arrested one suspect and are seeking other members of the group.
The kidnapping took place last week in Laredo when a Texas woman received a phone call from a Mexican mobile number. A male speaker said her son was kidnapped. According to a criminal complaint filed by the FBI, the teen was picked up at his home by a friend and did not return. The unknown caller said the woman’s son had stolen drugs from them and she needed to pay $30,000 for his release or he would be killed.
The kidnappers sent the woman a video of her son showing cuts and bruises, indicating some level of torture. The woman contacted the FBI, who began assisting in a ransom negotiation. The teen later managed to escape a cartel stash house through an open window. The teen led the FBI and Laredo Police to an apartment on Seymour Avenue where one of the captors remained.
