DML Morning Briefing June 1

By  Dennis Michael Lynch

Today is June 1. Below are some of the stories grabbing headlines this morning. I hope you share this briefing as doing so will make you the smartest person in the room.

1.Biden sending advanced rockets to Ukraine
Breitbart – President Joe Biden announced in an op-ed Tuesday evening that he has decided to send advanced rocket systems to Ukraine, marking an increased capacity for Ukrainian forces to hit Russian targets as well as deeper U.S. support in the war.

He argued that the war will end with negotiations and Ukraine should be in the “strongest possible position” at the negotiating table. He said, “I’ve decided that we will provide the Ukrainians with more advanced rocket systems and munitions that will enable them to more precisely strike key targets on the battlefield in Ukraine.”

The systems reportedly include the wheeled High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), which would enable Ukraine to strike Russian forces from a farther distance than anything Ukraine has in its arsenal, at 48 miles. The systems will be included in a $700 million package the administration is expected to announce on Wednesday.

Biden denied that his administration wanted to see war between NATO and Russia, or Russian President Vladimir Putin’s ouster, or U.S. forces directly involved in the conflict.

DML: “Biden denied” he doesn’t want war.  LOL.  Whatever Joey says, always believe the opposite.  No joke, it’s like Biden saying he doesn’t want an open border.  Yeah, right.

2.’Remote work is no longer acceptble’: Elon Musk tells Tesla staff they face being fired unless they do 40 hours in the office before working from home

DailyMail – Tesla CEO Elon Musk has told executive staff at the company they face being fired unless they work at least 40 hours a week in the office.

In a leaked email sent to workers with the miss-spelt subject line ‘remote work is no longer acceptble’, Musk wrote that any executive staff who wish to work remotely must be in the office for a minimum of 40 hours per week ‘or depart Tesla’.

He added that the requirement for executive staff to work at least 40 hours in the office is ‘less than we ask of factory workers’.

DML: Good for Elon.  The pandemic being a bullshit excuse for laziness is over; America needs to get back to the normal way of operating or else we will find ourselves no better than Mexico.  We’re almost there as it is.

3.China says it conducted ‘readiness patrol’ around Taiwan
(Reuters) – The Chinese military said on Wednesday it had conducted a combat “readiness patrol” in the seas and airspace around Taiwan in recent days, saying it was a necessary action to respond to “collusion” between Washington and Taipei.

China, which claims democratically governed Taiwan as its own territory, has stepped up its military manoeuvres around the island over the past two years or so, as it seeks to pressure Taipei to accept its sovereignty claims.

China has been particularly unhappy with U.S. support for Taiwan. Joe Biden angered China last week by appearing to signal a change in an American policy of “strategic ambiguity” on Taiwan by saying the United States would become involved militarily if China were to attack the island. U.S. officials said there had been no change in policy.

DML: Can you imagine the US having to fight two wars under the leadership of Biden?  US vs Russia, US vs. China.  I hate to push any disrespect towards our military, but I have to tell it like it is.  Our leaders in large part are now woke, and this includes military leaders like Gen Milley who are woke, so our men and women in uniform don’t stand a chance under the current administration. I have no choice but to think we’d be wiped off the face of the Earth.  Biden can’t walk without farting and soiling his pants, so do you think this guy can lead us through two major battles? Someone in the Republican Party needs to get Biden a 30-year-old runway model and a large vat of Viagra.  Keep Joey busy for the next two years until we get Trump or DeSantis in the White House.

4. Texas police change story about the open door at Robb Elementary
AP – An exterior door at Robb Elementary School did not lock when it was closed by a teacher shortly before a gunman used it to get inside and kill 19 students and two teachers, leaving investigators searching to determine why, state police said Tuesday.

State police initially said a teacher had propped the door open shortly before Salvador Ramos, 18, entered the school in Uvalde, Texas, on May 24.

They have now determined that the teacher, who has not been identified, propped the door open with a rock, but then removed the rock and closed the door when she realized there was a shooter on campus, said Travis Considine, chief communications officer for the Texas Department of Public Safety. But, Considine said, the door that was designed to lock when shut did not lock.

“We did verify she closed the door. The door did not lock. We know that much and now investigators are looking into why it did not lock,” Considine said.

DML: Bullshit.  For starters, the teacher should not have propped open the door with a rock.  Where’s it written that the school’s protocol for keeping a door open starts with a rock! Doors are to be locked at all times.  Second, I don’t believe anything from the officials investigating this nightmare.  We’ve been lied to from the get go, and all they are doing now is saving this teacher from being the most hated woman in the country. They also saving her from being sued up and down the state of Texas.  It’s total bullshit.  Doors don’t decide not to lock on their own.  Bottom line, she had no legit reason to open the door in the first place, let alone with a rock.  In my opinion she caused 21 people to die. If I was a parent in Uvalde I’d hire a private investigator to get to the bottom of the story.

5.Florida’s third-grade reading scores remain stagnant after COVID
Just 53 percent of Florida’s third graders passed the state’s reading test, down just one percentage point from last year, according to the state Department of Education.

Florida’s students are — for the most part — back to the constant humdrum of classroom learning. But the coronavirus pandemic has almost certainly made its lasting effect on Florida’s budding students.

This year, just 53 percent of Florida’s third graders scored a passing grade or higher on the reading portion of the Florida Standards Assessment. That’s one point lower than in 2021, according to the state Department of Education.

DML: This is a concern because Florida schools were more open than those in other states. So, lets get a full report on the entire country. I bet the numbers are worse.  What was done to US kids over the past 3 years is criminal.  I know we look at Uvalde as a nightmare, but in the bigger picture it’s a small event when compared to how many kids in the US have either killed themselves via suicide or via drugs because of being locked up like zoo animals.  And why?  Over fear that they will catch the sniffles.  We will continue to be a failed society for as long as Democrats and people like Tony Fauci are in control.
